Rapidly turning legendary, the Vaskikello Trophy is a friendly T20 series between OCC and JCC (Jyväskylä) since 2012 – played every year without a fail. It’s a home-and-away format, where equal numbers of matches are played at OCC and JCC home grounds. To date this has been the most entertaining event for the summers for players and spectators alike.
The trophy itself is a special “löyöykauha” (sauna ladle), and both teams really push their hardest to try and win the trophy. The tournament itself is named after the famous roadside café and service station, located just about half way between Oulu and Jyväskylä.
